What it does or does not do, any noises or smells, error codes, and when the problem first appeared.

A simple email template
Paste this into a new email to [email protected] and fill in what you know. Leave anything blank if you are not sure.
While you wait for a reply
- Keep the appliance unplugged if it smells of burning, sparks, trips the electrics or leaks.
- Turn off the water supply to a leaking washing machine or dishwasher.
- Do not open microwave casings or attempt internal electrical repairs.
- Note any changes in the fault — they can be useful clues.
